I don't teach birth. I help women remember — and guide them back to trust.

I'm Sarah. A prenatal yoga teacher, birth doula, and educator based in Newcastle — and for the past eight years, walking alongside women through pregnancy, birth, and into early motherhood has been my work and my deepest privilege.

It started with my own two births — and the surprise of them. The surprise of what I was actually capable of, and how much I craved support in a system that treated birth as a medical event rather than the profound rite of passage it is. Inside that, I came home to my body. It was grounding, meditative, transformative. And with my second birth, something settled deeper — a trust in my body and my own power I hadn't known before.

That's what I hold as possible for every woman I journey with.

safe, seen, loved

Whether you are in a prenatal yoga class connecting with your body and baby, sitting with your partner in a birth preparation series, gathered with other women in a pregnancy circle, or in the intimate space of one-to-one doula support — the quality of presence I bring is the same.

I will provide you with evidence-based information so your decisions are truly informed. I will support you to enquire deeply and sit with you in complexity without leading you to a conclusion. I will offer care that is personal, responsive, and attuned to your goals and vision for birth. I will prepare you so thoroughly that when labour begins, you feel calm, steady, and ready — not reaching for someone else's confidence, but standing in your own.

I promise you this: to feel safe, seen, and loved — as you discover your own strength and power.

  • “After a first birth that left us a little battered and bruised, Sarah showed us that there is a wildly different, empowering, and beautiful way to bring babies into the world. From her welcoming yoga community, to caring doula support, to the safe space she held for me during labour - words can’t describe how thankful I am. It was the way she expressed her belief in me, and in women, over and over across our months together. This is what helped me achieve my unmedicated VBAC and have the calm, integrated postpartum that I had longed for.”

    Amy - Hospital, VBAC

  • “Sarah supported us for my third pregnancy and I achieved my first physiological birth! She has so many helpful tools and resources for women to help prepare. During labour she guided my husband and me, reminding us of my goals and my choices. Sarah helped me achieve a truly redemptive birth - I highly recommend her for professional independent support.”

Corinne - Birth Centre, Third Baby

  • “From her specialised prenatal yoga classes to one-on-one sessions in the birth space, each family is treated individually according to their unique needs and choice of care provider. A person of integrity, Sarah brings complete presence - weaving a sacred space from a deep understanding of birth, yoga, and spirituality. She is divinely sensitive, highly intuitive, and creative, and she uses these innate qualities to nurture her clients on their journey to parenthood.”

    Joanne - Postpartum Doula

  • “At 29 weeks, I was disheartened after being risked out of my MGP spot. Working with Sarah allowed me to feel confident and empowered again. She filled the continuity, knowledge, and support gap that the system couldn’t provide - and this changed the entire trajectory of our birth, and my postpartum as well. My partner and I will be forever grateful.”

For the mother you are becoming.

If you have read this far, something here has resonated.

Perhaps it is the sense that what you are looking for is not someone to take over - but someone who will walk beside you while you find your own way through. Someone who will prepare you so thoroughly that when the moment comes, you trust yourself completely.

That trust is not something I can give you. But I can create the conditions for you to find it. And once you do - in your body, your breath, your bones - it belongs to you. Long after your baby is in your arms. Long after our work together is done.

That is what I am here for.

LET’S GET STARTED

Let's find out if we're
the right fit.

The best place to start is always a conversation. A discovery call is unhurried, honest, and carries no obligation - just a chance to talk about where you are, what you are moving toward, and whether working together feels right.
